GNP Is Twenty Minutes Away
West Glacier entrance is a short drive from Badrock. We are very lucky to have the best of GNP so close. Apgar is one of the main villages inside GNP about a mile from the west entrance. Next to Apgar is Lake McDonald. Lake McDonald is the largest lake in Glacier National Park (10 miles long and over a mile wide).
Whether you stay with us for a day or a week, we can share the best hikes and tips of Glacier and the Flathead Valley. We also have a library filled with books, maps, and websites for your GNP adventure.
Montana Breakfast
Breakfast is a dining experience at Badrock. Our recipes are unique and delicious. A Montana breakfast is a balance of healthy and tasty treats that is homemade and fresh-baked each morning.
Breakfast time is also the best time to gather GNP trail updates from other guests. We encourage everyone to exchange their strategies and share the many different ways to see the most of Glacier.

BADROCK B&B
Drive right up to Badrock B&B’s front door and look out at the great Swan Mountain Range, the first western range of the Rocky Mountains. Nestled among ten acres of towering pines and rolling fields, Badrock Bed & Breakfast is your Gateway to West Glacier. Here the mountains reach elevations of 7,200 feet while in Glacier National Park they rise to over 10,000 feet. Arrival at Badrock B&B brings guests to the main house and its stunning example of architectural log and river rock design.
We are centrally located in the Flathead Valley. There are many options to dine in the local area of downtown Columbia Falls (5.2mi). Badrock B&B is also close to the international airport in Kalispell (FCA ~ 12mi). Whitefish Lake and Flathead Lake are beautiful to visit and close by.
